1. Pick your theme, popular choices are vintage, modern, sex and the city, Christmas, pink and girly, floral..lots to choose from!
2. Get your florist to order the flowers that match your style!
3. Choose a venue decor company, have a meeting with them and tell them your thoughts, they can then show you chair covers, sashes and table centrepieces that you can hire!
4. Find out from your venue how many guests you can have at the tables to let you plan your dinner.
5. Don't forget the kids, its always nice to have kids together at the same table for company. Colouring books and drawing stuff helps to keep them occupied it can be a long day for them!
6. Sort out your table plans, and name cards, following the same theme will ensure it all fits in nicely!
7. Your favours help with the table decoration, and again these can be designed to fit in with your wedding theme! Candles, sweets, lavender bags there are lots of favours on the market.
8. Balloons can also provide some decoration, check with your venue though as not all venues allow balloons!
